Somebody asked, “Was the Book of Revelation written by the weird uncle of the other New Testament authors?”
Was it really written by John the “beloved disciple,” who said, “God is Love”?
What had he been eating when he composed a book full of dragons and lakes of fire, burning stars and bowls of wrath?
How have some Christians discovered it to be filled with hope and encouragement in tough times? Come and join us at “New” Covenant Community (an adult class). We really do have a multi-generational group. Some 20 to 30 of us meet Sunday mornings in Room 109 at 10:45 for Bible Study and open, pointed discussion. Warning: this is a boisterous, often hilarious group—and may be intimidating to shy persons. However, no physical injuries have occurred in class for several years.
Our teacher is Larry Jacobson, Minister of Congregational Care. The study of Revelation begins this Sunday, Feb. 10th with chapter one. Our study guide is the Bible.
