Parenting: The Early Years

Do you find yourself wondering, "Do I have what it takes to be a good parent?" A lot of times parents need help, but nobody likes to ask for help.  That's why the Life Foundations class is eagerly awaiting the beginning of the next study, and want you to join in!  Bluefishtv.com has teamed with Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott to create a new video-driven study called Parenting: The Early Years.

This study goes deeper than any technique of just getting kids to eat their broccoli and clean their room. It takes a Biblical approach into the traits parents want their children to have and what traits they want their children to see modeled in them.
They took their cameras into the homes of 20 families and captured real-life parenting moments. Some of these are funny moments and some are just completely honest moments that every parent can relate to.

This study is great for people with kids of any age, but is particularly helpful to those with infants through the elementary years.  Couples considering starting a family are also welcome and will gain a wealth of information to begin preparing themselves for parenthood.  Single parents, married couples, and blended households will all relate to the information in this study and are invited to attend.

The Life Foundations class invites you to join in beginning Sunday, November 4 at 9:15 am in room 102/103, directly across from the gym.  Questions?  Please contact Jana Janzen at562-3213 or  jjanzen@ncovenant.org   By the way, this is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to church with you!  Who doesn't want to learn more about how to become a great parent?
